Description. Thje trail starts just inside the Lake Scott State Park entrance at Barrel Springs. The initial trail is shaded singletrack that turns into doubletrack. Expect to see deer and turkey depending on the time of day. The trail parallels the paved road that goes around lake with many different lake and rock formation views.The location for Scott Lake is in Sections 33 and 34, Township 17N, Range 2W, Willamette Meridian. The lake receives its water from a creek that comes out of Deep Lake. The creek is officially unnamed, but is referred to as Spruce Creek by the Millersylvania State Park.
